Still behind on homework is where I stand at the moment. I've got eight chapters of Nathaniel Hawthorne's bloody novel The Scarlet Letter to read. I'm also behind in German, too. I forgot my text book at the darn school and haven't been able to retrieve it yet...but, guess what? I'm all caught up in math now! Bloody freakin' YES!
Putting that blasted school work aside, today went along rather nicely. During the morning hours and the first couple of hours into the afternoon I worked on homework. Kevy called and wanted to hang out earlier, so I told him to wait a couple of hours prior to coming over.
At about four-thirty said boy and his little sister, Mac, came knocking on the door. We jumped on the trampoline (well, I mostly jumped them), we shot some hoops together, retrieved an arrow, pretended we were fighters, rode in a race car, rode in a rocket ship, rode a dragon, rode a dog and a cat, jumped some more on the trampoline, and then I walked them halfway across the street back to Grandma's. That's the, ah, not-so-detailed version of today. I'm glad they had fun.
I can't make this entry blossom with scrumptious grammar and fluffy details 'cause I gotta get to work.
Chow!
